The best pizza I've had in New York. My favorite was the grandma slice but everything was great. A nice small place that provides a nostalgic old school feel.

I stopped by for lunch and got a couple of pepperoni slices for lunch. A good solid slice that was nice and crispy. I could've eaten a whole pie and might do that next time.

Solid pizza but nothing special. Each slice is about $2.75. Crispy and thin crust, sauce was a little salty. Could use some more cheese.

5 stars for great pizza at a great price. For $3 a slice, you can't go wrong with any of the notions at Luigi's at this location. The best was a simple cheese slice but i also really enjoyed the grandma slice! Cash only!

Saturday afternoon slice or two while in the Brooklyn area. We walked up with about 5 people in front of us. Very old-school, I couldn't tell if there was a small place in the back to sit, but we took our slices out to the curb patio to eat. The square slice was a little underwhelming - small, tasted old, although the sauce was great. The margherita slice was very good - as they had just pulled it out of the oven and sliced it when I ordered. Overall good, probably would be a 3.5 if the rating system allowed, but I nudge it to 4 instead.

This is a good solid New York Pizza. Stepping inside was like a walk back to my childhood. To have a neighborhood pizza spot last for decades means they are doing something right. And Luigi's is doing it right with quality ingredients, they make a good sauce and top it all off with a nice tasting olive oil. I walked into a small, and I mean very small pizza place. I'd like to sit down with my pizza and enjoy it at a table inside but they have a nice set up with tables outside. I see a slice in the window that caught my eye. I ask the kid behind the counter about the slice. He said, this is the Luigi's Pizza Supreme Pizza. He starts reading off the toppings, I had to stop him and I said sold! After the slice came out of the oven, I grabbed a seat outside. I pick up the slice and it is standing up. No flop, this is a firm crust. When I took a bite, I can tel this pizza had a lot going on. Great sauce, fantastic meats and cheeses and crust so firm that I'm jelly. I grew up in Brooklyn but this Park Slope neighborhood has a great local pizza spot with Luigi's Pizza.

Solid spot for a good plain NYC slice. Nice crunchy crust, good cheese. Def a classic spot and they have some seats still sit outside.

Really good pizza but I wouldn't put it at the very top of the list. The regular slice was very well baked and had a nice crunch to it. The bottom of the crust had a slightly odd odor that I couldn't quite put my finger on but it was not strong enough to be bothersome. I actually liked the square (Sicilian) piece better. The crust was light and airy with a nice crunch on the bottom. Also baked very well. More sauce than the plain which is to be expected. Sauce was flavorful and the cheese was good. The vibe is definitely old school. That cash register has to be from the 1920s. The prices are ridiculously cheap as well. So, I likely won't make the schlep over from Manhattan just for this but if I was in Brooklyn I would definitely stop by. It is close enough to the Barclays Center to make a side trip worth your while.

Best pizza I've ever had! I loved the square slice. Insanity. The bottom is crispy but the middle is fluffy and airy. It's crazy. Never had anything like it. Amazing tomato sauce. If I could, I would shrink myself down to a small size and dive onto it like a bed and stay there forever. The regular slice was also super great! Marisa, the daughter of Luigi, was so nice to us. She chatted with us about pizza and even gave us a free slice of the mozzarella pizza to try. My brother was obsessed with that one. Very very delicious. Amazing crust. CHEAP slices! $2.75 each. You can't beat that. If I lived closer I'd go every day.
